The Internet Society (ISOC) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1992 with a vision of Internet for everyone. ISOC collaborates with a broad range of groups to promote a safe and secure Internet and advocate for policies that enable universal access.

 

El Cuy is a village of 540+ residents in Patagonia, Argentina. Before 2019 inhabitants of the village could not get a reliable internet connection. But in February of that year, a group of community members came together to form a cooperative.
